In all cases I have been closely involved in the process of developing working methods and work strategies which minimize the impact of the individual's disability on their employment. This may have required:

management of support workers;
increasing employer and colleague awareness of client's vision impairment;
through job design assisting the employer to make best use of the employee's abilities, thus reducing the impact of disability;
training in the use of adaptive technology and
securing appropriate Access to Work provision.
